realme 14 Pro+ 5G Review: A Masterclass in Design and Endurance
We took the realme 14 Pro+ 5G for a spin to test its color-changing design, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 performance, and massive 6000mAh battery. Is it the mid-range king? Read our full review.

Introduction
realme kicked off the year with a bold statement at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, unveiling the realme 14 Pro+ 5G as its new mid-range flagship. On paper, it promises a lot: a striking color-changing design, a vibrant 1.5K OLED display, a capable Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera, and a massive 6000mAh battery with fast charging — all for PHP 27,999.
We spent time living with the realme 14 Pro+ 5G as a daily driver to see if it’s more than just a pretty face. Here’s our full review.
Design that Dazzles
If there’s one area where the realme 14 Pro+ 5G immediately stands out, it’s design. The Pearl White variant is the star of the show, and realme has clearly poured a lot of effort into making this phone feel special in the hand.
Pearl White: Color That Comes Alive
The back panel features a cold-sensitive, color-changing finish that subtly shifts its tone depending on temperature and lighting. Under normal indoor conditions, Pearl White looks clean, elegant, and almost minimalist. Step into a cooler environment or expose it to lower temperatures, and you’ll notice warmer hues and soft gradients emerging across the back.
This isn’t just a gimmick — the transitions are smooth and tasteful, giving the phone a premium, almost jewelry-like character. It’s the kind of design flourish that makes you want to use the phone without a case.
MagicFlow Triple Flash & Camera Module
Dominating the rear is the circular camera island, highlighted by realme’s MagicFlow Triple Flash design. Instead of a single, generic LED, the flash layout is arranged to complement the triple-camera setup, creating a more refined and symmetrical look.
In low light, the MagicFlow Triple Flash doesn’t just look good — it provides more even illumination for close-up shots and portraits, helping reduce harsh shadows and blown-out highlights.
