What is Nits?
A unit of measurement for display brightness.
A nit is a unit of visible-light intensity, commonly used to specify the brightness of a display. One nit is equal to one candela per square meter. Brightness Levels: - Indoor: 200-500 nits is sufficient. - Outdoor: 800+ nits required for visibility in sunlight. - HDR Peak: 1000-4000+ nits for highlights in HDR content.

Phones temporarily boost brightness beyond normal limits when intense sunlight is detected.
